TV CHANNEL 9 reported about the Organization …IZ KRUGA – VOJVODINA regarding the campaign Violence is always Isolation. The campaign is done with Irida and SOS Women’s Center to promote telephone numbers supporting women in violence situations.
During the first phase, SOS phone numbers were shared via social networks and posters in windows of various shops and boutiques. They reached 15 000 people. The second phase was launched in November and will last until April 2021. It is aimed towards suburban estates Adice, Telep, Klisa, Sremska Kamenica, Veternik and Cenej. 100.000 people saw the posts and the posters were hung in 80 different locations in town.
The coordinator of the SOS service, Ivana Zelic, from the Organization …IZ KRUGA – VOJVODINA pointed out the significant rise in the number of calls compared to the previous year by 33%. The rate for individual psychological support has risen by 87%.
There are two organizations in Novi Sad that provide free individual psychological help and SOS phone services for women exposed to violence …IZ KRUGA – VOJVODINA and SOS Women’s Center.
