The info session was organized by the Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia (CILS) on the premises of The Association for Supporting Persons with Autism in Novi Sad.

The assistant of the project, Mimica Zivadinovic, shared basic information with the participants about the project at the info session and asked them to join in the project activities that would take place in Novi Sad. CILS would be directly responsible for its realization.

The project is carried out by the Forum of young persons with disabilities with partners (Caritas Serbia, Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac, Smart Kolektiv, and CILS), supported by USAID. It is implemented in six municipalities/cities in Serbia (Nis, Valjevo, Beograd, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin, and Subotica) and lasts four years. The goals of the project are: Promotion of the competencies of persons with disabilities to develop skills and obtain the necessary training required to secure employment; Development of entrepreneurship of persons with disabilities so they can get capital, market, technical support, and networks on the level with the others; Promotion of the environment that corresponds to Inclusive economic growth of persons with disabilities.

The responsibility of CILS is to ensure the achievement of the third goal through the preparation of the Study on the Employment of Persons with Disabilities, the organization of round tables, and the realization of advocacy and endorsement campaigns, and precisely in these activities, it counts on the support of those present.

The present representatives of the organization of persons with disabilities were informed about the implementation of this significant project that promotes extremely material topics for all women and men with disabilities.
