Novosadska TV published an article on the occasion of the expert meeting Persons with Disabilities and the Media – Strengthening the Capacity of Local Media for Reporting on Persons with Disabilities. Mariana Canak, a journalist from the Portal o invalidnosti, spoke at the meeting. Radio Futog – Native Association of Futog organized the gathering in the Historical Archive of the City of Novi Sad, on November 18, 2021.
Marijana Canak spoke about various practices in reporting on persons with disabilities, especially women with disabilities, the use of politically correct terminology in media content and the representation of women with disabilities in the media.
