Novi Sad, 03 July – In the great hall of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina have been awarded contracts for the implementation of the program to improve social protection in AP Vojvodina. Contracts are assigned to social welfare institutions and associations for the implementation of programs, measures and activities that will contribute to improving the social protection system. Through the implementation of these programs aim is to encourage and develop new and improve existing social services.
Provincial Secretary for Social Policy, Demography and Gender Equality Predrag Vuletic said that 2017 was declared the Year of social protection. In order to improve the welfare of the whole system and users for the implementation of the Program of improvement of social protection in 2017 is planned this competition allocated RSD 56,000,000.00 45,000,000.00 of which is intended for social welfare institutions and associations 11,000,000.00 citizens – service providers. Compared to the year 2016 it is 86% more funds.
“This competition has reached 108 requires social protection institutions, while civic associations competed with 186 projects. Was approved 71 projects for institutions and 48 projects of associations of citizens. “Said Predrag Vuletic.
During this year the competition will be separated with Pokrajinskogsekretarijata 102,000,000.00 dinars. At present, the current competition for citizens’ associations in the area of social protection, protection of war veterans and population policy, through which will be allocated 16,000,000.00 dinars.
