The Novi Sad School of Journalism has prepared an article on the Organization for Support of Women with Disabilities … IZ KRUGA – VOJVODINA within the project Day in Your Shoes 2017. The Day in Your Shoes – advancing professional and ethical standards in the field of public information for persons with disabilities was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
It is designed to enhance the process of inclusion of persons with disabilities through joint media production of journalism students and students with disabilities. Putting emphasis on people with disabilities and technically adapting to their needs sensitizes society to the needs and problems that people with disabilities daily coping. Journalists and media outlets will also be sensitized to tailor content to the needs of persons with disabilities in order to enable them the right to information and active participation in society.
Contributions from the Day in Your Shoes 2017 project will be broadcast on the eve of December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
