Tempo Naxi Radio published an article about the activities of the Organization for supporting women with disabilities …IZ KRUGA – VOJVODINA, that will organize a webinar on December 3d, 2020. entitledViolence against women with disabilities and COVID -19, marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Women with disabilities are on average 2 to 5 times more likely to be exposed to violence than other women. During their lifetime, they experience various kinds of gender – based violence: being ridiculed and hard jokes, being criticized and their decisions undermined to threats and insults, neglecting of their needs, economic violence, denying the disability aids, control and isolation, topped with physical and sexual abuse.
