Vranjska Plus television published news about an educational session held for medical experts of The Gynecological Department in The Health Centre Vranje. The session was held by a member of The Initiative of women with disabilities for the promotion of sexual and reproductive rights from Vranje, Gordana Stojakovic. In the session with medical experts, Gordana spoke about the obstacles women with disabilities face in exercising their sexual and reproductive rights, the inaccessibility of health institutions and introduced the guidelines for dealing with women with different types of disabilities.
The session for medical experts was held within the project Promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights of women with disabilities by increasing their capacities for advocacy and sensitization of health workers, realized by the IZ KRUGA VOJVODINA in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
