RTV Vojvodina about a photography exhibition When the World Stopped they Didn’t


Radio – television Vojvodina covered an opening of the photography exhibition named When the World Stopped they Didn’t on 3rd June 2021. in Cultural Center Svilara, Novi Sad.

A psychologist Tatjana Stojsic Petkovic, repsenting the organization …IZ KRUGA- VOJVODINA took part in it. The exhibition presented photographs of ten women from Serbia that contributed to improving society during the corona pandemic.

The exhibition pays honor to women from all walks of life for their professional and personal engagement during the pandemic, intending to focus on the women’s part in making a just and prosperous society. It is also a reminder to the public on the importance of gender equality and a showcase of the rise of women in leadership positions, equal pay for equal work and decrease of discrimination and violence towards women.

The United Nations Agency for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women, UN WOMEN, along with The Coordinating Body for Gender Equality, Ministry for European Integrations, European Union Delegation to Serbia and Embassy of France in Belgrade, marked the International Women’s Day with an exhibition: Women’s Leadership – The Future of Equality in the World after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
