announces an invitation
for the enrollment of second-generation attendees of
Non-formal educational program of disability studies DISABILITY TODAY
The program is open to all interested adult women and men who speak Serbian and have at least a high school education.
The program will be implemented from March 6 to June 20, 2025 (Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) for 32 hours, organized into 8 modules that can be attended personally or online.
The program includes the acquisition of knowledge from the modern theory and methodology of disability studies and the experience of living with a disability and the application of the acquired knowledge in activities and research in the local community aimed at increasing the visibility of the contribution of women and men with disabilities in cultural, artistic, scientific, political and social life, at mapping the obstacles that people with disabilities face in realizing their rights, at improving their rights and the capacity of the community of people with disabilities to realize their rights.
Students who participate in 70% of the educational program and prepare a final theoretical or practical paper with mentor support will receive a Certificate of Successfully Completed Educational Program.
Reconstruction Women’s Fund and IZ KRUGA VOJVODINA supply open-access literature, teaching material, refreshments, and participation in the educational program in an architecturally accessible space for all enrolled students.
The applicants register by filling out the Google form Registration of Participants no later than February 21, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
The number of participants is limited. The list of those enrolled in the SECOND GENERATION of the educational program DISABILITY TODAY will be published on the IZ KRUGA VOJVODINA website no later than February 28, 2025.
