At the last meeting of the working group, the inputs from the public hearing were discussed and the final version of the Local Action Plan for the prevention and fight against violence against women and domestic violence of the City of Novi Sad for the period 2023-2026 was prepared for the adoption procedure by the city authorities.
During 2022 and 2023, the working group prepared the Draft Local Action Plan for the prevention and fight against violence against women and domestic violence in the City of Novi Sad for the period 2023-2026.
Citizens and their associations, interested legal entities, and the professional public could submit their comments and suggestions on the draft local action plan to the working group until April 28, 2023, and the working group organized a public presentation in the City Assembly of Novi Sad on April 25. in 2023.
At the public presentation, the president of the working group, Nada Padejski Sekerovic, and members of the working group presented to the representatives of interested institutions and legal entities and the professional public the general and special goals and measures formulated by the working group aiming to improve protection from family and gender-based violence within this strategic documents. The participants actively participated in the discussion and praised the work of the working group and especially emphasized the expertise and comprehensiveness of the document.
The members of the working group for the preparation of the Local Action Plan for the prevention and fight against violence against women and domestic violence of the City of Novi Sad for the period 2023-2026 were Ivana Zelic in 2022 and Svjetlana Timotic in 2023.
